You will collaborate closely with our sales and marketing departments to devise and implement strategies aimed at increasing market presence and achieving revenue goals. Furthermore, you will pinpoint new business prospects, cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:
  • Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan to boost commercial vehicle sales within the designated territory.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, including businesses, contractors, and mid-sized fleet operators.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to comprehend customer requirements, preferences, and competitor actions.
  • Establish a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President and marketing team to create and execute promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations, including transporting vehicles to customer locations for walk-arounds and practical demonstrations.
Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and industry leaders.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers in the assigned territory, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service.
  • Conduct regular meetings, product demonstrations, and training sessions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
  • Achieve and surpass assigned sales targets and objectives, consistently meeting quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Monitor sales activities, customer interactions, and progress using CRM software and other designated tools.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management review.
  • Continuously assess market trends, competitor actions, and customer feedback to identify improvement and growth opportunities.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in B2B territory sales, ideally within the commercial vehicle sector. Experience in related industries will be considered.
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to cultivate a successful sales territory.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on nurturing long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in CRM software, MS Office suite, and other sales tools.
  • Proficient in using MS Teams and Zoom for remote meetings, both internally and externally.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for face-to-face sales engagements.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and navigate an office environment that may require movement in confined spaces.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • May be required to navigate stairs when necessary.
