Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead tax compliance and advisory engagements for a variety of industries, with a focus on small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize their financial well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives, and provide personalized tax advice and planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Manage and develop a team of staff accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Work closely with firm leadership to contribute to business development and firm administration activities.
  • Review and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax compliance and advisory.
  • CPA license or EA certification.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of staff accountants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
