Key Responsibilities:
  • Book warranty repair orders and submit claims to manufacturers
  • Maintain accurate receivables schedules and service contract claim submissions
  • Collaborate with technicians, service writers, and supervisors to ensure seamless warranty processing
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to expedite replacement part shipments
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to define warranty claim scopes
  • Process warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verification
  • Arrange for part shipments to factories or distributors
  • Reconcile warranty receivables and work with accounting to obtain payments
  • Stay up-to-date on factory recalls, announcements, and procedures
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with manufacturers and aftermarket warranty companies
  • Review warranty repair orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter labor operation codes, failure codes, and administrative data
  • Ensure deductible documentation and collection from customers
  • Review returned and rejected warranty claims and prepare resubmissions
  • Maintain records of claims submitted, returned, and paid
  • Establish and maintain part inventory records
  • Provide weekly reports to the service manager on claims status
Requirements:
  • Previous warranty experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others and be part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • General accounting knowledge preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
