Job Summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join our prestigious legal firm. As an Employment Attorney, you will play a vital role in representing and advising our clients on a wide range of employment issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Legal Advice and Guidance: Offer expert advice on employment law, including employment contracts, employee rights, workplace policies, and termination procedures.
  • Represent Clients in Employment Litigation: Prepare for and attend court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations to resolve employment litigation matters.
  • Negotiate and Draft Employment Contracts: Ensure that employment contracts are legally sound and protect the interests of our clients.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Employment Law Developments: Advise clients on the latest developments in employment law and provide guidance on how to navigate these changes.
  • Work with the Legal Team: Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for managing employment litigation cases and contract negotiations.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to clients on employment law to help them understand their rights and obligations.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Professional Discretion: Ensure that all client information is kept confidential and that professional discretion is maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • JD Degree: Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in Employment Law: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on employment litigation and contract negotiation.
  • State Bar Membership: Be a member in good standing with the state bar.
  • Knowledge of Employment Laws: Have strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven Track Record: Have a proven track record of successfully managing employment litigation cases and negotiating contracts.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Have superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Professionalism and Ethical Standards: Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
  • Legal Research Tools and Software: Be proficient in legal research tools and software.
