Position Summary:

The practice area provides expert counsel to a wide array of employers, ranging from large multinational corporations to smaller, localized businesses. The clientele includes sectors such as technology, pharmaceuticals, retail, banking, manufacturing, broadcasting, construction, mining, energy, financial services, healthcare, and government. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and evaluating employment policies and related documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, and separation agreements.
  • Addressing labor and employment matters during business transactions, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of six years of litigation experience across various employment issues, including wage and hour disputes and individual discrimination/harassment cases.
  • Experience in traditional labor relations is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Oregon.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law institution.
