About This Role

The Corporate Clinical Practice Specialist, Clinical Safety will provide clinical expertise as an educator, leader, consultant, facilitator, change agent, and researcher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster clinical onboarding, education, and training for nursing new hires.
  • Collaborate in developing competency assessments.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments within specialty and organization-wide.
  • Identify educational objectives based on assessment data, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop educational programs for nurses at all stages of their career.
  • Teach content within their clinical expertise to improve skills and retention of knowledge.
  • Evaluate assigned educational programs to determine effectiveness and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an approved school of nursing preferred.
  • Five (5) years' experience in designated specialty area. Prior educator experience and acute care experience are preferred.
  • Must have and maintain current registration in Tennessee and a valid TN nursing license.
  • Certification in the area of specialty required or attainable within 2 years of hire.
