We are currently seeking a skilled Travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an expert ultrasound specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various ultrasound modalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose medical conditions, including cardiac and vascular diseases.">
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.">
  • Develop and implement protocols for efficient and effective ultrasound examinations.">
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.">
  • Document patient information, examination results, and any notable observations or findings.">

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of paid experience as an ultrasound technologist within the last 3 years.">
  • Paid experience must be within their specialty in a hospital setting.">
  • Certification in echocardiography (RDCS or RDMS) or equivalent experience.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed, and stand for long periods during examinations.">
