Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesperson for Commercial Roofing Services to join our team at Progressive Roofing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new relationships and selling profitable preventive roof maintenance agreements, restoration coating systems, and corrective roof repairs on commercial, industrial, and government buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with property and facilities managers, general contractors, and manufacturer representatives to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
    • Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and bids to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Estimating and Pricing:
    • Analyze roofs, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for roofing services.
    • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Customer Service and Communication:
    • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative and Organizational:
    • Manage a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating.
    • Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of verifiable estimating experience specific to commercial roofing, preferably with a focus on service and/or coating restoration work.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
