Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Surgical Services to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve surgical services performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure seamless surgical operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of surgical services, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and coordination among surgical services team members.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to address performance gaps and improve overall surgical services performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to surgical services staff, including training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless integration of surgical services with other hospital functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and surgical services performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in surgical services leadership or management.
  • Proven track record of improving surgical services performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective plans to address performance gaps.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff to achieve shared goals.
