Job Summary

The Customer Service Agent 2 is a key member of the Pilot Freight Service team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all callers. They answer incoming calls and troubleshoot any issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callers
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Make outgoing calls to follow-up on shipment status, resolve issues, and update customers
  • Track, trace, enter, and update shipments to ensure accurate and efficient delivery
  • Assist and support Pilot stations and cartage agents to ensure seamless operations
  • Master outside customer applications to provide efficient and effective service
  • Follow published procedures and work instructions for NCS accounts and bring modifications to management's attention
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and drive business results

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Technological aptitude using the internet and online tools
  • High energy with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy
  • High School or better education
  • 2 years customer service experience
