Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist PRN Specialist's primary goal is to provide optimum care to the patient, physician, and patient's family in accordance with the standards of care at Fairview Park Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides quality Radiography exams for interpretation by the Radiologist.
  • Maintains and applies current Radiography standards and clinical competency, including age competency.
  • Applies critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies and procedures to prioritize and problem solve.
  • Delivers quality patient care, contrast media administration, quality control, patient documentation, and record maintenance.
  • Meets the personal and practical needs of patients and families.
  • Continues self-development, provides leadership, and actively participates in offered performance improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Vocational School graduate with a Certification in Radiography. Must be ARRT Registered.
  • Current certification in Radiography.
