Job Responsibilities

The primary objective of the Radiology Technologist is to deliver exceptional care to patients, physicians, and families in alignment with the standards upheld at Fairview Park Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality radiographic examinations for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Adhere to current radiography standards and maintain clinical competency.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize tasks and resolve issues in accordance with facility policies.
  • Ensure quality patient care, manage contrast media administration, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Address the personal and practical needs of patients and their families.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduation from an accredited vocational school with certification in Radiography; must be ARRT registered.
  • Current certification in Radiography is mandatory.
