Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The primary objective of the Radiology Technologist is to deliver exceptional care to patients, physicians, and families in line with the standards upheld at Fairview Park Hospital.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality radiographic examinations for analysis by the Radiologist.
  • Adhere to current radiographic standards and maintain clinical proficiency.
  • Utilize critical thinking to navigate facility policies and address challenges.
  • Ensure quality patient care, manage contrast media, maintain records, and document patient interactions.
  • Attend to the personal and practical needs of patients and their families.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within the first month of employment.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Completion of a relevant certificate program or vocational training.
