Radiologist in Emergency Radiology

We are seeking an exceptional Emergency Radiologist to join our team at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. As a key member of our Emergency Radiology section, you will provide expert interpretation of CT, ultrasound, radiography, and MRI scans across various organ systems, including neurologic, thoracic, musculoskeletal, vascular, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and early obstetric cases.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality radiology services in Emergency Radiology, including interpretation of imaging studies and supervision of residents and fellows.
- Contribute to resident didactic education and engage in clinical research or other scholarly activities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and other interdisciplinary activities with Emergency Medicine and Trauma/Acute Care Surgery colleagues.
- Opportunities for research and publication are available, supported by dedicated research and publications staff.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Able to obtain state licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
- ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date.
- State of New Mexico Medical License (or eligibility) by contract start date.
- Experience or fellowship in Emergency Radiology, MSK, Neuroradiology, or Abdominal Imaging with demonstrated ability to read across the broad spectrum of emergency imaging.
