Faculty Position in Diagnostic Radiology

The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our Musculoskeletal Imaging section. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's mission of providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and educating the next generation of radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary diagnostic and consultative services in Musculoskeletal Radiology for exams performed at multiple locations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Engage in research activities, including translational imaging and image processing, and collaborate with dedicated research and publications staff.
  • Teach and mentor radiology residents and fellows, and participate in educational programs and activities.

Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Able to obtain state licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
  • ABR Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSK fellowship or equivalent work experience, preferably including MSK ultrasound.
