Job Summary

RTX is seeking an Advanced Programs MCAD Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the computer-aided design (CAD) of mechanical components and assemblies, as well as the management of technical data package (TDP) databases. You will also oversee and review CAD models and drawings created by AP staff members, and define and oversee CAD model and drawing creation and maintenance processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with AP staff and other functions to meet the MCAD needs of the AP Portfolio.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software
Manage TDP databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date information
Oversee and review CAD models and drawings created by AP staff members
Define and oversee CAD model and drawing creation and maintenance processes
Collaborate with AP staff and other functions to meet the MCAD needs of the AP Portfolio

Requirements

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance or Current Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Extensive experience (10+ years) with Creo and Common PDM
Experience with drawing creation, release, and revision
Ability to be work onsite in the McKinney TX facility

Preferred Qualifications

Historical knowledge of the Advanced Programs Portfolio
MCAD surfacing and large assembly management skills
Team management experience

RTX offers a competitive salary range of $118,000 - $246,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
