Job Summary:
US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in the Medical Oncology department. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cancer care services.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in the outpatient setting
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic studies, and prescribe medications as needed
Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment options
Participate in tumor board meetings and other multidisciplinary care activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology or a related field
