Job Title: Certified Peer Support Specialist

At Southeastern Integrated Care LLC, we are seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing coaching, mentoring, and consultation to individuals in recovery, promoting self-advocacy, self-direction, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to clients, focusing on wellness self-management, personal recovery, and natural supports.
  • Assist clients with self-determination and decision-making, teaching functional skills and promoting self-advocacy.
  • Model recovery values, attitudes, and personal actions to encourage wellness and empowerment.
  • Develop and implement Mental Health Wellness Recovery Action Plans, providing linkage to community resources and case management services.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote a culture of recovery and empowerment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • NC Certified Peer Support Specialist
  • Valid driver's license
Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily in the client's living environment and in the community, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
