POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Finance Department is dedicated to the planning, management, documentation, and reporting of all revenue and expenditure activities within the organization. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Unit plays a crucial role in facilitating effective and strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario assessments. The FP&A Analyst will contribute to the oversight and management of budgets for all internally funded operations, projects, and program initiatives. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with various departments and Senior Management to formulate and execute the Corporation's financial strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Examine project contracts, modifications, amendments, and payments related to construction consulting and other services.
  • Evaluate funding requests submitted by project managers.
  • Track the progress of approved projects.
  • Identify suitable funding sources in alignment with the annual budget.
  • Assist in the documentation of the organization's financial activities.
  • Update internal systems with budgetary information, reconcile project budgets, and collaborate with project managers and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience, particularly in finance, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and capability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Residency in New York City is required within 180 days of employment.
Salary Range

$67,000-$69,000 USD
