Who are we seeking?

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is an essential and growing function at Vestwell as we advance into our next growth phase. This position will focus on supporting the Go-To-Market (GTM) segment of the FP&A team. The selected candidate will be responsible for key analyses that will influence strategic decision-making by enhancing visibility into business performance and continuously revealing insights. This analyst will report to the Director of FP&A GTM and assist in constructing and maintaining data-driven reports and dashboards that will aid sales and other GTM functions in meeting their objectives, while also shaping Vestwell's long-term direction.

This role will also involve managing pricing calculations, sales commission computations, and conducting a variety of ad-hoc analyses.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating dashboards and visualizations to effectively convey financial performance and trends against expectations.
  • Enhancing and maintaining monthly GTM reporting for our executive team, board, and investors; continuously refining, automating, and scaling reporting processes.
  • Tracking budget-to-actual performance and variances, providing explanations and recommendations as needed.
  • Collaborating across functions with GTM business partners to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Assisting in the development of pricing models for commercial agreements.
  • Helping manage and maintain commission calculations.

You may be a suitable candidate if you possess:

  • Experience (approximately 2+ years) in a reporting and data analytics role, ideally supporting GTM functions.
  • A strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, minimizing errors; structured and organized in your approach to work.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience tailoring your analysis for diverse audiences.
  • Robust organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • A self-motivated attitude and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Background in FinTech, B2B SaaS, or financial services.
  • Experience collaborating directly with GTM functions.
