This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, offering a comprehensive benefits package and a convenient schedule. The successful candidate will provide administrative oversight and direction to Northern Nevada Health System facilities for engineering, maintenance, security, grounds, EOC, EM, and Safety programs. The position requires maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and local agencies, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Departmental Policies and Procedures
- Develop, maintain, and review all departmental and regulatory policies, procedures, and plant operations manuals.
- Update Critical Documents
- Update the Statement of Conditions and life safety plans with current information and building changes.
- Ensure Compliance and Permits
- All required permits, licenses, and certificates of operation are up to date.
- Implement Preventive Maintenance Program
- Administer and implement the preventive maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted operation of the entire physical plant and equipment with completion rates greater than 90%.

- Knowledge of NFPA Life Safety Codes and Standards, Joint Commission and CMS Standards, OSHA, EPA, and State and Local Codes and Standards
- Working Knowledge in All Aspects of Building Trades, Mechanical Systems, Life Safety, Medical Equipment, Hazardous Materials and Waste, Utility Systems, and Total Building Systems Associated with the Healthcare Industry
- Experience and Successful Record of Accomplishment with Project Management
- Certification in a Technical Trade or Field Related to Facility Maintenance and/or Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field is Required, Master's Degree Preferred
- Healthcare Facility Manager Certification or Ability to Obtain Within One Year is Required
- Valid Driver's License in State of Nevada is Required
