Job Title: Plant Manager

Job Summary

Thatcher Company, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager to lead production in the Buckeye, AZ facility. This position will report to the General Manager/Director.

Key Responsibilities

Motivate and support production staff to achieve high-quality results

Ensure all safety and health standards are met to maintain a safe working environment

Manage manufacturing, shipping, and receiving activities for the Sparks, NV facility

Prioritize tasks and assignments and deploy resources in alignment with production schedule

Maintain a safety-focused environment and product quality compliance

Develop an atmosphere of continuous improvement

Provide employee training and development opportunities

Participate in continuous improvements, including root cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions

Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of equipment

Ensure a work environment that is safe and clean for production (5S)

Requirements

Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills

5 years of supervisory/management experience

Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations

Proven record in training employees about safety and production

Strong working knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations

Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

Proficiency with Microsoft Office
