Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations, disciplinary and grievance conferences
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management and employees
  • Work closely with management, employees, and union leadership to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity
  • Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures that impact both unionized and non-unionized employees
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of two years human resources experience providing guidance and consultation to management and staff in employee relations and labor relations
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, federal and state employment laws
