Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in leading and overseeing all aspects of the human resources function, including compensation, employee benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. This position reports to the President/CEO and participates on the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for administering human resources programs and policies that support the company's purpose, mission, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Company and HR department goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support for the HR team, regularly meeting with employees to assess job satisfaction, retention risk, and overall morale.
  • Design, implement, and interpret policies and procedures.
  • Analyze HR reports and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals and recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements.
  • Partner with leadership on all aspects of human resources, including performance management, disciplinary investigations and actions, and coaching and motivating teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Manage and support recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt positions within the organization.
  • Lead administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, leave/disability/life, and retirement benefits.
  • Analyze wage and salary reports to determine competitive compensation plans.
  • Provide guidance and ensures accurate administration of programs pertaining to attendance/absenteeism, HR metrics, recruiting, training and development.
  • Act as a change agent and employee advocate, serving as the guardian for company values and culture.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of Human Resource experience with a company of 250+ employees.
  • 5 years of previous Leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated Servant Leadership mentality.
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy, able to bring energy to this leadership role.
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide variety of personalities and levels within the organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR information systems; strategic planning process, statistical analysis/problem solving methods; and practices and trends influencing human resources management.
  • SHRM CP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
