We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Consultant to join our team at Aon. As a key member of our Consumer Benefit Solutions group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing open enrollment communications campaigns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend client meetings and lead discussions on communications initiatives, providing consultative guidance and engagement strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and update various benefit communication materials, including benefit guides, educational inserts, and other materials as directed.
  • Manage multiple projects from start to finish, coordinating deadlines and prioritizing tasks with short turnaround times.
  • Prepare content, including edit rounds and proofreading finalized materials.
  • Provide product education and assist with special communications projects as needed.
  • Assist in reviewing other materials and supporting colleagues as necessary.
  • Stay ahead of communication and benefit trends, continuously discovering and implementing new functions and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

As a Senior Communications Consultant, you will work autonomously as the communications subject matter expert for your clients, managing open enrollment campaigns from design and content creation to distribution and web development. You will have the support of our full-service communications team, including production, design, and web development, as well as collaboration with Health Solutions and Account Management to tailor campaigns to meet client needs and reach their employee populations.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in content writing or project management, with HR and benefits content experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, working as an integral part of a team and cultivating relationships.
  • Effective client service expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and work consultatively across departments and with clients.
  • Experience delivering accurate, timely, and engaging messages through print and online channels.
