Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist, your primary duties will include:

  • Administering respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians, including but not limited to nebulizer treatments and chest physiotherapy.
  • Setting up and monitoring oxygen therapy in accordance with medical directives.
  • Collecting and analyzing arterial blood gas samples, reporting findings to the attending physician.
  • Configuring and adjusting ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP machines as necessary.
  • Conducting weaning assessments and performing extubations.
  • Carrying out EKGs and pulmonary function tests.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT/RRT).
  • A valid state license in good standing.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, to be obtained within the first month of employment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
