Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Pulaski. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, administering routine treatment modalities, and working closely with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer routine treatment modalities, including CPT, Nebulizer Treatments, and other respiratory therapies as ordered by physicians.
  • Set up and monitor oxygen therapy, gather arterial blood gas samples, and perform analysis and reporting of results to physicians.
  • Perform ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP set up, making any necessary changes, and conduct weaning parameters and extubations.
  • Conduct EKGs and PFTs as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Respiratory (CRT/RRT) program.
  • Current license in good standing.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Experience preferred.
