About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at Duly Health and Care. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and visitors, manage patient flow, and ensure a clean and organized waiting area.
  • Patient Registration: Verify patient information, obtain necessary documents, and update demographic and health plan information.
  • Scheduling: Schedule appointments, manage patient schedules, and communicate with staff and patients regarding schedule changes.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect copays, process payments, and balance daily cash and collections.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prefer one year of experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a medical office with basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in EPIC software and Microsoft applications.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
