Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing the surgical suite and ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care duties.
  • Perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • Technical/Vocational Diploma
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting preferred
