Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures
  • Implement sterile and aseptic techniques to prevent infection and promote patient safety
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or military training equivalent
  • Current Surgical Tech Certification preferred
  • Previous surgical technologist experience preferred
