About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses in the operating room to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments to ensure proper function.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and sterile environment to prevent infection.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent (68D – Operating Room Specialist).
  • Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
  • Current Surgical Tech Certification preferred.
