Job Summary

Bridgewell is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team in a residential program setting. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities, helping them to develop skills and foster independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with daily living skills, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Assist individuals with accessing community resources, including medical, recreational, and educational opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress and support provided.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
