Job Summary

Origis Energy Technicians is seeking a skilled Solar Landscaping and Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for the daily vegetation management of our large solar farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vegetation growth at our solar power plants to ensure optimal energy production.
  • Maintain and operate landscaping equipment, including tractors and associated machinery.
  • Document work activities, including work orders, service orders, and time logs.
  • Manage inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure high-quality control of provided tools, vehicles, and materials.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform physical activities, including kneeling, crawling, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and uneven terrain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
