We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle professional to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. This position is responsible for providing operational support to the Patient Accounting Department, including billing, claims analysis, appeals, and follow-up.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, accounting, or healthcare, with experience in revenue cycle operations. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Inpatient and Outpatient billing requirements (UB-04/837i) and/or CMS Medicare and New York Medicaid reimbursement methodologies are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient accounts and resolve issues in a timely manner
