Digital Media Strategist, Global Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Strategist to join our team in Global Operations at GroupM. As an Associate Director, Paid Social, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day Paid Social operations and serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership in our digital group to deliver effective and innovative communication plans. You will also manage the career paths of supporting staff within the Paid Social team.
- Paid Social Strategy Formulation: Develop and implement comprehensive Paid Social strategies for client businesses, ensuring alignment with their objectives and strategies.
- Integration and Innovation: Lead the integration of social efforts, presenting innovative and business-building recommendations to drive results.
- Tactical Planning: Collaborate with teams to define tactical social strategies and media plans that address client needs.
- Performance Evaluation: Accurately assess the performance of Associates and/or Managers, providing constructive feedback for growth.
- Methodology Development: Facilitate the development and documentation of standard methodologies for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group.
As a key member of our team, you will coordinate the work of our disciplines, industry groups, and media partners, assisting with the integration of other client and GroupM agencies. You will also provide support to regional offices and/or partners, where applicable.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience.
- 5+ years of experience planning/buying across all platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Experience with CMS platforms, 3rd Party API technology, and Native UIs (i.e. Facebook Power Editor).
- Significant client-facing and relationship management experience is required.
- Prior experience managing a team, demonstrating the ability to train and grow junior members, and serving as a coach and mentor.
- Prior experience in an agency environment is highly desired.
The base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $180,000 per year, based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
