Position SummaryThe primary objective of this role is to assist a Broker and/or Associate Broker with various administrative responsibilities related to the acquisition of new and renewal business, while also delivering exceptional customer service. As a Brokerage Administrative Assistant, you will have the chance to enhance your expertise in specialty brokerage and client relationship management.
QualificationsEducation:
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in insurance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

- Prepare submissions and liaise with our carrier partners for quotations.
- Manage the processing and distribution of renewal quotes, endorsements, audits, cancellations, binders, and other policy-related documents.
- Assist with accounting tasks, including invoicing.
- Perform data entry across various online systems.
- Compile risk or claims summaries as required.
- Handle inquiries and requests regarding issues, delays, or discrepancies.
- Support the Broker in maintaining renewal retention and fostering new business growth.
- Effectively communicate with both retail and carrier partners.
- Request and track outstanding information from external sources.
- Organize and maintain files in a digital environment.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
