We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

About the Role

The Direct Support Professional position is a rewarding and challenging role that requires a passion for helping others. You will work closely with our team to provide individualized support and care to our clients, assisting them with daily living activities, such as cooking, housekeeping, and hygiene. You will also support our clients in developing their social and interpersonal skills, communication skills, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support and care to clients with developmental disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as cooking, housekeeping, and hygiene
  • Support clients in developing their social and interpersonal skills, communication skills, and decision-making abilities
  • Work closely with our team to provide a comprehensive support service
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to our team

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess and maintain a clear criminal record per Medicaid Waiver regulation requirements
  • Maintain a valid Indiana driver's license, full-coverage insurance on personal vehicle, and maintain insurability as defined by the agency liability insurance carrier
