Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at LittleStar ABA Therapy. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The Direct Support Professional position is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. You will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, such as cooking, housekeeping, and hygiene, as well as supporting individuals with communication, social, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as cooking, housekeeping, and hygiene
  • Support individuals with communication, social, and interpersonal skills
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess and maintain a clear criminal record per Medicaid Waiver regulation requirements
  • Maintain a valid Indiana driver's license, full-coverage insurance on personal vehicle, and maintain insurability as defined by the agency liability insurance carrier
