Job Summary

As a Mechanic - Equipment Maintenance Specialist at Oshkosh Corporation, you will be responsible for managing the receipt and shipment of JLG equipment within the facility, ensuring accurate system updates, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to facilitate the movement of equipment from trucks to the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with repairs of material handling equipment and other industrial equipment to learn safe work habits and gain knowledge of machine repair, calibration, and adjustments.
  • Perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Clean machines in preparation to be moved into the shop for estimation or repairs.
  • Support other technicians in inspection and diagnosis of equipment issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to one (0-1) years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use web-based software.
  • Valid Driver's License.
