Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Arcosa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks on equipment to prevent wear and tear
  • Conduct repairs and replacement of parts as needed
  • Review and prioritize repair lists with the maintenance manager
  • Assess and recommend equipment upgrades and modifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a dust-filled, loud noise environment
  • Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures and weather conditions
