Job Description

As a key member of the Cox Business team, the Project Manager will oversee the direction, coordination, and execution of Large, Complex Fiber Projects, On/Off, Combination Fiber projects, and Complex Type II for designated Carrier Enterprise Cox Business customers. This role requires strong project management skills, including scope of work review, risk assessment and management, project planning, estimating, tracking, reporting, and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Large, Complex Fiber Projects, On/Off, Combination Fiber projects, and Complex Type II for designated Retail, Carrier, or Enterprise in support of Cox Business customers.
  • Plan and direct the sequencing of projects, ensuring timely completion and profitability.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, cost analysis, and margin analysis to maximize return on investment.
  • Coordinate with Construction to build new sites, determine the need for site surveys, and conduct as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with defined processes and implementation.
  • Communicate project requirements to other departments, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Manage long-range logistics and planning for multiple customer projects.
  • Obtain feedback at critical milestones and project completion to ensure customer expectations are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2+ years' experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and self-direct.
  • Strong knowledge of good customer service practices, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, to all levels of management and across different cultural backgrounds.
