Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver close protection to designated executives, ensuring their safety in both domestic and international settings, including high-risk environments.
  • Work closely with our Intelligence Team to prepare risk assessments and threat analyses; develop tailored mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously assess threat levels and adjust security strategies as needed.
  • Coordinate and implement comprehensive executive travel plans, including secure transportation and accommodations. Conduct advance site surveys to ensure secure environments at all destinations, which includes route selections, vehicle security, venue security, and emergency evacuation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and execute thorough security plans, protocols, and procedures for executives. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious or hostile activities and respond to incidents or emergencies promptly.
  • Act decisively during emergency situations, such as medical incidents, accidents, or security breaches. Provide immediate first aid, emergency medical assistance, or evacuation to designated facilities, if necessary.
  • Engage and coordinate with law enforcement and other security agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding client information and security operations.
  • Stay informed about security trends, best practices, and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and basic first aid.
  • Understanding of advanced security protocols, including site surveys, route planning, and reconnaissance.
  • Experience in providing close protection to executives or other at-risk individuals in various operating environments.
  • Able to formulate security plans based on information from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, inputs, or operating conditions.
  • Recognize the importance of collaboration across multiple constituents, lines of business, and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive collaborative relationships and convey security-related concepts effectively.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of preparing clear and comprehensive reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Experience in managing budgets, personnel, and resources.
  • Ability to handle pressure and challenges with professionalism and resilience.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including for unplanned critical incident management, and to work flexible hours.
  • Proficient in various computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and able to learn bespoke applications.

Experience Required

  • 10+ years of experience in executive protection or a related field; diverse law enforcement or corporate security experience preferred.
  • Qualification under HR 218 is preferred but not mandatory.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; an advanced degree is desirable.
