Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage international ocean bookings and ensure effective tracking and tracing of shipments.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain communication with clients regarding their freight status.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with TSA, KSMS, and other governmental regulations related to shipment booking and routing.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in international operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer usage and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively with carriers, colleagues, and handling agents.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to execute tasks with precision and thoroughness.
  • Strong team player with outstanding customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in work approach.
  • Experience with reach truck forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

This position is primarily clerical and administrative within a professional office environment. The role involves frequent sitting, occasional standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Extensive use of a phone and computer is required.
