About the Role

We're seeking a resourceful and dynamic Paralegal to join our Legal Department. As a Paralegal, you will support all aspects of our business, including reviewing, drafting, and providing commentary on legal documents, collaborating with teams across the business, and managing the contract lifecycle.

You will also oversee the maintenance of a legal filing system, manage the retention and organization of electronic and paper documents, and serve as the primary liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and provide commentary on a variety of legal documents, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and corporate documents
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to support the drafting, review, and execution of a wide array of legal documents
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including efficiently routing documents for signatures, cataloging executed contracts into a document database, and tracking contract statuses
  • Oversee the maintenance of a legal filing system, managing the retention and organization of electronic and paper documents
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders, addressing questions and issues and fielding them to the appropriate parties
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the business to research, draft, and advise on legal documents
  • Support a variety of complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, securitizations, and joint ventures, including assisting with due diligence and KYC requests
  • Assist with the management and administration of the company's subsidiaries by managing corporate filings, governance documents, and ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
  • Draft corporate governance documents, including resolutions, consents, and minutes
  • Support periodic and ad hoc regulatory reporting and related internal processes, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements, Section 16 filings, and maintenance of the company's insider trading compliance program
  • Collaborate on company-wide initiatives and other special projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of paralegal or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing time, documents, projects, and relationships
  • Extreme attention to detail, ability to adjust on the fly, problem-solving skills, intellectual maturity, business acumen, and a great attitude
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Database management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growing company
  • A self-starter mentality, with the confidence to work independently and take initiative without oversight
