Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying.
  • Sales Process Support: Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
  • Brand Awareness: Promote awareness of our brand image internally and externally.
  • Information Gathering: Gather materials and assemble information packages, including brochures and promotional materials.
  • Sales Techniques: Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Software Management: Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in software involved in the sales process.
  • Guest Service: Answer guest questions about property facilities and services, including hours of operation, rates, and room types.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them to respond to questions and requests.
  • Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Communication Skills: Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Teamwork: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Quality Assurance: Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Physical Demands: Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
