Position Overview:
The Production Support Specialist will collaborate closely with the Shift Supervisor and Management to oversee machinery operations and uphold a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment within the production area.
- Prepare machinery for production transitions.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Champion safety initiatives within the production zone.
- Diagnose and resolve machinery issues.
- Monitor material consumption and machine performance.
- Restock production cells with essential components.
- Review production orders and prepare for subsequent shifts.
- Accurately complete production documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred 2 years of experience in injection molding.
- Self-driven and capable of working autonomously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
