We are seeking a talented Principal User Experience Designer to join our team at The Swift Group in Laurel, MD. As a UX Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing intuitive user navigation strategies for different user bases.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in planning, designing, and programming web sites using MediaWiki, including MediaWiki templates and extensions. You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing graphical user interfaces for navigating complex engineering designs
  • Managing multi-media content in MediaWiki, including text, mathematical equations, and images
  • Developing and enforcing design/layout standards for dynamically updated content
  • Generating summary reports from Wiki content

You will work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of scientific and engineering users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with MediaWiki, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Python, and SQL
  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles and human-centered design methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
