Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within specified customer accounts, leveraging your expertise and relationships to drive growth and revenue.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within accounts, developing in-depth knowledge of the customer organization and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Commercial Intelligence: Maintain a general knowledge of all IQVIA services, including clinical research, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence, to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on competitive activities, positioning, and pricing, including specific reasons for awards and non-awards, to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Proposal Development: Coordinate with contracts and proposals teams to develop compelling proposals that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Work with operations and functional managers to identify sales team and prepare and lead sales presentations, educating team participants on customer culture, operational needs, and sales techniques.
  • Account Management: Handle follow-up related to sales and drive completion of contractual documents, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance and adapt successful strategies and tactics to meet market demands and financial targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain high visibility within customer organizations, monitoring customer satisfaction and communicating regularly with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Comprehensive Sales Planning: Establish and execute comprehensive sales plans for each target account, ensuring appropriate strategies and solutions are proposed to customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
  • Experience: 10 years of related experience, including 3 years of relevant industry (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales experience.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development, proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts, strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Qualifications: Developing record of customer contacts at the outsourcing, procurement, and mid-management level, excellent business/industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business, excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.
