About the Role

LEAF Engineers is a leading provider of comprehensive engineering design services, specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design of electrical distribution systems, power systems, and lighting systems for commercial and educational facilities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Prepare and oversee electrical power system design, including single-line diagrams, wiring, and elementary diagrams, as well as layout and circuitry design.
  • Coordinate designs and drawings needed for plant electrical systems to meet applicable standards and codes.
  • Review supplier drawings to ensure dimensional compatibility and compliance with specifications.
  • Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and electrical engineers to design coordinated systems.
  • Develop accurate and precise product designs that comply with drafting and company standards.
  • Review and coordinate vendor design documents to ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Provide quality assurance checks of electrical, control detail engineering, and design project deliverables.
  • Compare project budgets and schedules to coordinate multidiscipline groups.
Requirements
  • 4 or more years of work experience with an engineering consultant.
  • Proficient in Revit 2021/2022 and AutoCAD design software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology degree.
  • P.E. Professional Engineering License.
  • Strong oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The salary range for this position is $89,000 to $134,832.00.
