Job Description

Proskauer Rose is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Client Operations department, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with our billing, collection, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly analyses and customized reporting for various stakeholders using existing and innovative approaches.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in collaboration to promote new ideas and develop streamlined processes to enhance department efficiencies.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual reports and processes.
  • Support: Support management with the preparation of presentations for executive leadership.
  • Data Analysis: Write SQL queries on an ad hoc basis in response to data-specific requests.
  • Report Design: Work concurrently with the Manager of Client Operations to design reports that introduce efficient solutions to current business needs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Information Services department and other development teams to improve the quality, consistency, and accuracy of report deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; a focus in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant financial analytical experience.
  • Skills: Sophisticated use of Excel (vertical lookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.), experience with SQL and Power BI desired.
  • Personal Qualities: Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills, ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ability to identify and analyze multi-faceted problems and recommend solutions, team player with capacity to work collaboratively with personnel across different functions and levels of the organization, strong written and verbal communications skills, flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands.
